Altitude
Storyline
"Altitude" is a fantasy cum survival movie about a group of teenagers who sets out for a journey abroad a small plane to a concert. After a mysterious malfunction sends their small plane climbing out of control, the rookie pilot and her four teenage friends find themselves trapped in a deadly showdown with a supernatural force.Cast-wise, relatively little known faces. Jessica Lowndes plays the lead as the rookie pilot, who convinces her friends for a ride abroad a small plane. Her friends played by Julianna Guill, Ryan Donowho, Landon Liboiron and Jake Weary really over act for most part of their performance. Even the lead, Jessica Lowndes only seems to know flaunting herself and asking dumb questions even in the most demanding of situations. Overall, the casting was disappointing.
The strength of "Altitude" lies in its direction. Even though of short running time, the Director manages to engage the viewers considering the fact that the entire movie was shot abroad a small plane. A feeble mention of the cast, which is inept for acting point of view, but definitely eye-candy for the onlookers.
The drawbacks include it's ridiculous plot, poor acting, stupid dialogue and most importantly, the climax where the past is changed owing to something that happened in the present. The climax virtually obliterated the entire movie, which was traveling on a thin line till then.
Overall, "Altitude" is a mediocre way to pass nearly 90 minutes. But having said that, Watch it if you have an appetite for claustrophobic movies.
